Partnership Models

Splendid Effect Ltd offers two clear partnership models, tailored to fit different project sizes, site requirements, and our partners' specific needs.

Model A: Day Work Solutions (Flexible Labor Hire)

For clients requiring dynamic, ongoing support under fluid site conditions, we provide fully equipped installation teams on a standard Day Work / Day Rate basis.

  • Team Structure: Supplied in standard operational units (e.g., highly efficient 2-man installation teams).
  • Operational Scope: Our operatives handle all site tasks associated with structural and architectural steelwork installation.
  • Flexible Supervision: We adapt to your project infrastructure. Our teams can operate directly under your existing site management, or we can supply an independent, certified SSSTS/SMSTS Supervisor/Manager if required.

Model B: Pre-Construction Evaluation & Fixed-Price Tendering

To ensure absolute pricing accuracy and eliminate unexpected site variations, we conduct a rigorous pre-construction evaluation. This process ensures our fixed-price tenders reflect the true, practical requirements and real-world variables of your project. This paid/refundable service includes:

  • Sequence of Works: Detailed analysis of project phases, lead times, and structural installation scheduling.
  • Plant, Access & Specialist Equipment: Sourcing and costing of specialized plant, access equipment, and any unique project-specific tools required to meet project specifications.
  • Lifting & Crane Operations: Selection of the exact lifting assets required for heavy handling (Cranes, Hiabs, Spider Cranes, Genie Lifts, etc.).
  • Site Inspections & Technical Surveys: Physical site visits to evaluate real-world access and constraints. (Note: Full dimensional Site Surveys can be provided as an optional extra if not already completed by the client).
  • Project Documentation: Working directly under the RAMS provided by our partners (Optional extra: custom RAMS and Lifting Plans can be produced if required, tailored to the Principal Contractor’s rules).
  • Central London Logistics: Central London planning, factoring in initial toolbox drop-offs and site logistics, followed by public transport commuting to eliminate ongoing parking overheads.
  • Operatives: Calculating required workforce volume and exact qualification levels (including Managers, Supervisors, Steel Erectors, Coded Welders, IPAF Operators, etc.).
  • Operational Consumables: Budgeting for project-specific consumables such as cutting discs, welding materials, drill bits, and protective gear.

Our Commercial Guarantee: The cost of this comprehensive pre-construction package is 100% credited back to our partners. It is deducted from the project’s subsequent invoices as agreed upon contract award and signing, ensuring the evaluation process remains investment-free for our active clients.
